Can we block udp 1434 internally behind our firewall at the routers? We are
subnetted. any issues?If you use any named instances, then you must choose a FIXED port number,
and set up the clients to connect via the fixed port number, instead of
using the auto port selection/identification features, which require 1434 to
be open...
Otherwise, no problems.
