Blank warning when I launch SQL Express mgt.

I have rebuilt this laptop (XPpro) and installed the SQL Express, now when we
launch the sql server management studio express we get a blank warning popup.
Anyone have any ideas why we are getting this and how to remove it?
I have sql loaded on other laptops and this is the first one that this has
showed up on. When you click on OK you can connect to your dBase just fine.
Thanks.tech-pete;7385369 Wrote:

I was having the same problem. To fix it, I did a complete uninstall of
all sql components via add/remove. Then manually removed the C:\Program
Files\Micorsoft SQL Server folder.
Then I removed the Network 2.0 framework then, after restarting I
reinstalled everything and the blank dialog is gone. You might try just
reinstalling the Network 2.0 Framework first. I think MSMXL 6.0 gets
removed automatically, but that has to go also.
In any case, I had tried numerous other fixes and this is the only
thing that worked.
